Williamsville, NY ? (November 10, 2016) The 2016 season finale and championship decision await the Trans Am Series at the famed high banks course of Daytona International Speedway. For Paul Fix and the #50 Stopflex/ClassicTube/CarCoach/Techron Corvette, riding a tremendous wave of momentum, this week?s final stop on the schedule is all about bringing to conclusion a season long quest. The quest to etch one?s name into the annuals of motorsport history.

Fix and crew have given notice that they will not go quietly into the off season. Fresh off a decisive victory at last week?s race at Circuit of The America?s, whereby Fix catapulted into the championship points lead, the 2015 pole achiever at Daytona looks to wrap things up in similar fashion.

Said Fix, ?Obviously the second half of the season has produced spectacular results for our team. Numerous wins and poles have created a scenario where we now enter Daytona leading the points making the other contenders have to play catch up. With the roll we?re on, I am confident of the outcome come Saturday afternoon.?

Fix?s Corvette carries the number 50 this season, in commemorative honor of Trans Am?s fiftieth anniversary. That connection is not lost on Fix who looks to be champion in this the 50th season of the series, adding his name to a long list of accomplished drivers. Holding an eight point margin over the driver in second spot in the standings, Fix?s opportunity to hold the champion?s trophy is well within grasp.

The weekend?s schedule calls for Practice One on Friday November 11th at 10:00AM ET followed by One Shot Qualifying at 3:50PM ET. Saturday?s 29 laps of racing action is set to begin at 1:20PM ET.
